Breaking The Trauma Bond
1:1 Coaching Programme
Breaking the cycle of abuse, one person at a time
1:1 coaching programme for people who are stuck in a trauma-bond, and don’t know how to get out.
Are you someone who is ready to break free from the invisible chains that bind you to a person, place, or situation?
Do you keep getting pulled back into a relationship with a certain type of individual, or group of people who harm you?
Do you find yourself getting into one toxic relationship after another that feels like the same person in a different body?
Do you feel confused and foggy? That you know something isn’t right, but you can’t quite put your finger on it?
Do you feel like you are walking on eggshells to avoid their anger or rage?…
Maybe you’re not sure from one moment to the next if you are going to get Doctor Jekyll or Mr Hyde?
Does it feel like you’re on an emotional rollercoaster?
Do you feel like you’re losing your independence, confidence, or sense of self?
Maybe you’re not sure who you are anymore? You look in the mirror and wonder where you’ve gone?
Does it feel like your world is getting smaller and smaller, and you’re struggling to breathe?
If you can relate to any of the above, you may be stuck in a trauma bond.
It takes, on average, 7 attempts before a woman is able to leave for good.
Leaving an abusive partner is a process, not a single act.
It’s important to remember, relationships aren’t abusive, individuals are.
Sliding-Scale Payment Scheme
Due to the complex nature of being stuck in an abusive situation, and the internal work required to get out (and stay out), I will be working on a sliding-scale payment scheme.
This means that during an initial consultation, I will work out where I think you may be at in the abuse cycle, and how much work needs to take place.
Then we will discuss your financial situation and your personal circumstances. From here, I will work with you to work out what is financially viable for you in a way that works for us both.
Honestly, this WILL be hard work, BUT if you’re ready to break free, I will work with you to guide you out of the dark place you’ve found yourself in! One step at a time, I will support you in the best way I can to help you break free in a way that is safe for you.
I’m throwing you a lifeline so that you can swim back to shore.
